Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Surveyor responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land features, both natural and man-made, to support construction and development projects. This involves using surveying instruments like GPS and total stations, preparing detailed maps and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct topographical, boundary, and construction surveys using GPS, Total Stations, and other modern surveying tools.
• Interpret and analyze site plans, drawings, and legal documents (e.g., deed plans, survey plans).
• Mark out construction sites, property boundaries, and reference points on the ground.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure the accuracy of site data.
• Prepare and update site layout plans, as-built drawings, and survey reports.
• Maintain accurate survey records, logs, and documentation for regulatory or client use.
• Identify potential land issues or disputes (e.g., encroachments, access, or terrain challenges).
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian land survey regulations and the Standards and Procedures of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON).
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, ensuring accuracy and calibration.
• Support GIS and CAD teams with reliable survey inputs and data conversion.
